The service

Every mission-critical radio project starts with a solid propagation study. We work on PMR networks (TETRA, DMR, VHF/UHF, P25), DAS systems in tunnels and complex buildings, and multi-operator cellular networks. Our experience spans projects for Italy's leading motorway concessionaires, railway operators, airports, and regional TETRA networks.

For every study we produce a complete technical report including coverage simulations, link budgets, equipment selection, network layout, and a detailed bill of materials. The documentation is designed to be used directly at the tender stage, with technical specifications and a bill of requirements. We hold SOA OS 19 Category II qualification for participation in Italian public tenders in the telecommunications sector.

The process

How we work.

The process we follow for every customer of this service — from the initial briefing to delivery.

  1. Step 01

    Requirements gathering

Analysis of customer needs, definition of technologies to support, coverage requirements, and operational constraints.

  2. Step 02

    Propagation model

Coverage simulation using dedicated tools, with models suited to the environment — outdoor, indoor, tunnels, complex settings.

  3. Step 03

    Network dimensioning

Link budget, equipment selection, network layout, frequency plan, and definition of installation points.

  4. Step 04

    Technical documentation

Project report, technical specifications, bill of quantities, and specifications usable as attachments to tender offers.

  5. Step 05

    Field validation

RF measurements and drive tests to validate design assumptions, with model revision as required.

Deliverables

What we deliver.

The deliverables the customer receives at the end of the work.

  • Project report

Technical summary document describing the architecture, design choices, and operational parameters of the network.

  • Coverage simulation

Simulated coverage maps for each technology, showing field values, service levels, and percentage area coverage.

  • BOM (Bill of Materials)

Detailed list of equipment, materials, and accessories required to build the installation.

  • Tender specification & technical specs

Contract specification and detailed technical requirements, usable as annexes to public tender documents.

  • Tender support

Proven track record on public tenders for motorway concessionaires, railway operators, and regional TETRA networks.

  • Frequency plan

Frequency plan compliant with ministerial assignments, with support for the related licensing procedures.
