Training on dispatch consoles, radio equipment, and monitoring platforms.
Programs built around the system installed at the customer’s site: dispatch console operation and emergency procedures for operators, maintenance and measurements on DMR, TETRA, and VHF/UHF networks for technicians, Respondr and Track-TP configuration for administrators. Sessions run in the classroom, in the field, or remotely, in Italian and in English.

A mission-critical radio system is almost always used under pressure: at night, during an emergency, with a few seconds to decide. That is when training gaps surface: the operator cannot find the Vigili del Fuoco talkgroup, the technician replaces a unit but does not reload its programming, the administrator cannot restore a backup after a server failure. No acceptance test prevents these errors. They do not depend on the system, but on how well the people who use it know it.
That is why we do not offer generic courses. We build the program around the system installed at the customer’s site, with the channels, talkgroups, and procedures actually in use. Sessions are led by our own technicians, the same people who design and commission the systems. They run in the classroom, in the field, or remotely, in Italian and in English. Every course follows the procedures of our ISO 9001:2015 certified quality system and closes with a review of the topics covered and the issue of a certificate of attendance.

How the courses are delivered.
The three formats we combine within one program, chosen according to the role being trained and the operating windows available.
Classroom training
One of our technicians runs the sessions at the customer’s site or at our own offices: system architecture, platform functions, and operating procedures, with exercises on the dispatch console.
Training on the installed system
Exercises take place on the real equipment, in the control room, in the equipment rooms, and inside the tunnel, within the operating windows agreed with the customer.
Remote sessions
We connect online for updates, for staff spread across several sites, and for refresher sessions after a change to the configuration or the arrival of new personnel.

Radio room operators
- Operating the dispatch console and the operator positions
- Managing channels, talkgroups, and selective calls
- Emergency calls and operating procedures agreed with the customer

Field technicians: equipment
- Architecture of the installed system, from repeaters to antennas to the radiating cable

Training-needs analysis
With the customer we define the roles to be trained, the number of participants, the starting level, and the objectives of each program.

Program and course material
We prepare slides, manuals, and quick-reference cards on the system installed at the customer’s site, with the channels, talkgroups, and procedures in use.
- Step 03
Classroom or remote sessions
Our technicians present the topics in the program and answer the participants’ questions, in Italian or in English.
- Step 04
Exercises on the installed system
Participants work on the dispatch console, on the equipment, and on the test instruments, within the agreed operating windows or in a test environment.
- Step 05
Final review and support
We close with a review of the topics covered and the issue of the certificate. We then stay available for the questions that come up during the first weeks of work on the system.

The questions we hear most often about this service.
How long does a training course last?
There is no standard duration: it depends on the role being trained, the number of participants, and the topics requested. We set the duration during the training-needs analysis and state it in the course program, which the customer approves before the start. A course for radio room operators is usually shorter than one for field technicians, which also covers measurements with test instruments and fault finding.
How do you prepare the course if the system was installed by another supplier?
We start by reviewing the existing configuration: installed equipment, channels, talkgroups, and procedures in use, with a site survey where needed. If the system documentation is incomplete or out of date, we rebuild it together with the customer’s technicians, because without that picture the practical exercises have no reliable basis. Only then do we write the program, on the same channels and the same procedures the participants will use in service.
Does the certificate of attendance replace mandatory workplace safety training?
No. The certificate attests attendance at a technical course on the radio system and its equipment, and it does not replace the health and safety training that the employer must provide to its own staff. The program does cover safety when working on systems in service: access rules for tunnels and equipment rooms, coordination with the control room, and electrical risk inside shelters. These topics are part of the technical content of the course and do not count as mandatory safety training.
Is training included when a new system is built, or must it be requested separately?
On turnkey contracts, staff training is scheduled before the system enters service: we agree it during design and deliver it once the system has passed acceptance testing, when the final channels and procedures are already configured. You can also request a course on a system already in service, for example after a change of staff, a network expansion, or a change to the configuration. In both cases the cost depends on the number of roles to be trained and the days required, and we define it together with the program.
