Solutions · Public safety

In an emergency, police, EMS, and fire crews respond together, each on its own radio network. We let them talk from a single console, in real time.

We design, build, and maintain mission-critical radio networks and control rooms for law enforcement, emergency medical services, and Protezione Civile: TETRA, DMR, and P25 networks, powered by the Respondr dispatch platform and over twenty years of experience in communications where failure is not an option.

The challenges

The three challenges of public safety.

What law enforcement and emergency services must guarantee on every response.

  • Coordination across agencies and emergency services

During an emergency, law enforcement, emergency medical services, and fire crews respond together, often on different radio networks. You need a control room that lets them communicate in real time from a single operator position, without missing a call.

  • Confidential communications

Public safety communications carry sensitive data. They must be protected with encryption and access control, and the data must stay within the customer’s country. Cybersecurity is a baseline requirement, not something added later.

  • A lasting investment

The system has to last for years and be maintained without service interruptions: what matters is component quality, technical documentation, and scheduled maintenance.

Scenario · Emergency

What happens when agencies and emergency services respond together.

A real case: an emergency coordinated from the control room, from the first call to the recording of every communication.

  1. The call for help reaches the control room

The control room operator takes the call and works from the Respondr console, the IP dispatch platform that brings the radio networks of every agency and emergency service into a single interface. From one position, the operator can talk to every team involved.

  2. Agencies and emergency services on different networks

Police, emergency medical services, and fire crews operate on radio networks built to different standards: TETRA, DMR, and P25. Respondr brings them together on the same console, so the operator can coordinate the response without anyone having to replace their own equipment.

  3. Field teams stay connected

In the field, crews stay in contact through their issued radio terminals. We supply, program, and maintain the teams’ radio fleet as an authorized reseller for Motorola Solutions, Hytera, and Kenwood and the exclusive Funktronic distributor for Italy.

  4. The control room tracks teams on the map

From the control room, the operator tracks each team’s position in real time. The GPS location built into Respondr shows where every vehicle is, helping direct the response and protect the safety of crews in the field.

  5. Every communication is recorded

Respondr’s built-in recording system stores all radio communications from the response, with the date, time, and channel of every call: each event stays documented and searchable, so you can reconstruct exactly how it was handled.

Products and services

The systems we put in the field.

Each solution has its own in-depth page: here you’ll find only what it does for a public-safety control room.

Interoperability

Our systems work with the equipment you already have.

No closed systems: we use open protocols, bring the networks of agencies and emergency services together on the same console, and hold the certifications that public tenders require.

Different networks on one console

Respondr brings the TETRA, DMR, P25, and VHF/UHF radio networks of agencies and emergency services together on the same console: each organization keeps its own equipment and its own network.

Cybersecurity built in

The Respondr platform complies with the NIS2 directive and the ISA/IEC 62443-3-3 standard at Security Level 2, with TLS 1.3 and AES-256 encryption and data residency in the customer’s country.

Certifications and qualifications

Teleproject is an ISO 9001:2015 certified and SOA OS 19 qualified company. The Respondr and Track-TP platforms are designed in compliance with the NIS2 directive and the ISA/IEC 62443-3-3 standard.
